Let's Set Our Priorities
Have you ever heard or used the phrase “I’m so sorry, I just have been to busy”. At some point of our life’s we all have used it, I have too. But most of the times, that is plain bullshit, the right way to respond would be '“I’ve had other priorities beforehand that I needed to take care off” and nobody can take it as an insult as we are all wired differently.
When a person tell’s you I’m sorry the last couple of weeks, going to months I’ve been so busy that I couldn’t get back to you, basically means my mental health and you are not on my list of priorities, not even on my social life. Plain and simple, painful maybe but then do you really want to have someone in your life that does not give you time?
“A true friend is the best possession.”
“Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom. ”
On a personal perspective, my priorities are: Myself, Friends & Family. Yes, you could say work and it definitely has a strong place specially to be productive as the Dalai Lama said on a documentary “Make yourself useful, a person who isolates from society and who’s jobless it’s a waste of life.’ . We all need to create, dream on something and have a purpose, not for profit but for individual and it has to make you thrive but sanity comes first and that is your social life, the people that you have by your side as support when needed.
There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family.
“Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.”
“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”
A true friend will fight for you, respect you, deserve you but most important of all stand by you.
