Letters of CoVid-19 with Love
This is a time where reflection is essential, about our reality, what actually matters and everything that is around us. About the reality of nature and what is reality. People have been living in a bubble of delusion created by our own self ego.
There are people that don’t have access to a phone and aren't able to read this as you. This recession will even be harder for them to get by, let’s be open to helping others, not just financially.
We are still struggling to make ends meet but it is here to stay, we have to accept it and work around it. Just as other viruses that have appeared, still do, this will too. People that carry it and might not have any effect on them could still be able to spread it if your defenses are low. If we are not willing to work together on this, in our day to day life's and we still want to look for ourselves. Why should we live? We are not been humans and helping in anyway.
““No man is an island” ”
The panic, might become a frustration after been locked for 2-3 weeks at your home or apartment. People might start to go out for mental peace, to have a glass of wine or a beer, restaurants or places will have to become insane with cleaning if the can be open, even cleaning the bottle of beer with alcohol/diluted in front of you, to make sure you can trust them, they will have to start to wear gloves, maybe even long sleeves and if everyone starts to work on the part that corresponds to each one of us, we might bee able to feel a little more alive again. It is time to change our perspective and the way we do things, even beliefs if we have to.
In this time we have to become conscious of how we can impact anyone we come across and consider doing a change if it makes sense for improving our life and everyone else's.
Buddhism says: We are practicing in a context: with others and for others.
““The way out of loneliness or isolation, then, is to love more deeply.” It is in going beyond the ego that we also go beyond loneliness and isolation.””
To every cause there is a reaction. Isolation is the reason the ecosystems are returning to there nature form, in consequence to that we have less pollution and we can see it transcend (go beyond) our expectations. The sky, the lakes & the oceans are getting cleaner by the day. Human beings having a time for themselves, to grow as a person, to grow with the rest. To connect with the our families, with the world & ourselves, even by being isolated. The basic unity of any society. Let's educate ourselves and work on the values that we want to represent, that we wanna see reflected on other people. There are many theories of how the virus originated though maybe is the earth talking to us and telling us to make a change.
“The earth has music for those who listen.”
There are countries that will struggle more as there is no support for citizens, the news that are spread might also seem as a joke and deny the truth and every information that goes out is controlled. At that point we are the one’s that have to share everything that happens and corroborate every new information before sharing. Social media is more powerful than any government, company and individual. Let’s use it with a good intention, to keep us informed and work together.
“If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, you must go together.
”
Getting in tune with a shared reality:
If the governments doesn't respond against the crisis and helps everyone of us to be able to sustain ourselves, then it is up to us and we have to become fully conscious and aware of how our actions can have consequences. If you work on a service industry where you can't close or stop working because this means been broke at the end of the month. Then at least take guidelines and rules for your employees & yourself, for the people you care for and for the families of everyone you cross.
- Get a thermometer to measure the temperature of your employees when they arrive and when they leave, even to offer to a client if he/she starts with any symptoms.
- Get a spray with water and alcohol to kill any virus left on surfaces on public restrooms, knobs, tables, counters. Yes and become a little obsessive with the cleaning.
- If you can work with gloves, mouth cover and even long sleeves do it for everybody's sake, if you can't please, please, please be obsessed with washing your hands before dealing with any customer and after (specially restaurants and coffee shops). If you are not willing to keep it clean you shouldn't be open.
If you need hand sanitizer and there all sold out, don't alarm and most important don't panic, just do a search and make it yourself.
If you can help people with donations for food, loans, clothing this is the time to begin to look after the others.
Let’s make it count on something & let’s make a change.
The change begins with us.
