How to align one's decisions?
Have you truly delved into your mind, seeking your deepest desires fulfilled by a main's pursuit with a deep yearning? We likely pose this same question with each passing year... How close have you gotten to achieve it, or do you still feel like it's miles behind?
Life resembles a grand chessboard, where each move must be meticulously considered before taken. Everyone is allocated a number of missteps before the game may falter and veer off course. When one makes astute choices, it is as though checkmate is achieved in one's favor. A truth often overlooked is that fear breeds scarcity and perfection is just an ideal, as numerous mistakes will be made, and are just inevitable. By practice, focus and concentration we will find that such dedication propels further than our purposes and intentions.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
Millions of people live with the weight of existence on their shoulders, with weary spirits, all the worldly burdens and with a continuous feeling to embrace a bitter resignation, when no solace is found. Or combination of rage, frustration and anger to pound relentlessly upon the unyielding surface of the boxing bag, until our knuckles are drenched in blood and our own strength is utterly gone. This is merely the surface of the decisions we make in life.
“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
Changing our life's trajectory is part of the game. The necessity of aligning one's decisions with the proper circumstances, a principle I have, at times, neglected, choosing to act when the timing was not favorable. Often, what is required is the guidance of one who has navigated the very process we are currently facing, yet we do not align with the rest.
In every facet we require diligent work and growth. Even when we arrive into the midst of our most fulfilling desires, the journey of self discovery, and improvement on ourselves remains unabated. On this game called life, we live by the rules that we cannot break, though some that can be bent.
One's passions and laughter should be shared with a cherished companion, whose journey aligns with your own, many don't have that pleasure, either by their own choices or because they struggle to fit into today's society, have you consider this might get worst as we age, some will continue living their life’s independently and not by choice.
Now, we must ask, are we truly thankful and fulfilled with gratitude by the moments we get to experience, the people we get to be surrounded by, the opportunities that often appear at our front step when other's are craving for them.
“He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.”
